So we celebrated some special birthdays this September, one of which was the actual birth of Milan’s niece, Mya.
Here is the card that I made for her when she was born:
These are a few headbands I made to give to her:

They are all made from old t-shirts. The bands are 5-strand braids, hand stitched together at the ends and the flowers are just circles that I cut out from the t-shirts. Please excuse the terrible photo, the colors look totally off, but starting on the left they are white and purple, pink and white, and pink and brown.
Hopefully she can fit into those for more than 5 minutes! Her daddy (and Milan) coach basketball at Lake Washington High School, and their team colors are purple and white, so I figured this would be a cute way for her to sport those colors this winter!
This is us hanging out with Mya when she got home from the hospital. What a beautiful little burrito, huh!?
We also celebrated my Dad’s 56th birthday this past September. My Dad is a high school football coach at Sammamish in Bellevue, and his birthday happened to fall on a game day this year. I used my cricut to make him a cute little birthday card with Totem colors:
And yes of course, I wrapped the present to match! I love giving presents. ***sigh.
I would also like to give Serin Compton a special shout out for her September birthday! We had a fabulous labor day weekend celebration in Desert Aire...but I never took a picture of the gift card holder that I made. Whoops.
Thanks for looking!
